Revolutionary real estate franchise makes No. 2 on BRW ‘Fastest franchises’ list
Australia’s fastest growing real estate franchise, Go Gecko Property Sales, is among the top two fastest growing franchises across Australia for 2009.
The real estate franchise had seven offices in July 2007, and currently the total number across Australia stands at 23. Chief executive officer, Mr Geoff Doyle, said Go Gecko Property Sales’ enormous success and public demand was due to its policy of a capped commission of $5950 on sales.
“Our BRW listing gives our new and existing clients confidence about Go Gecko’s ability to achieve exceptional results and compete with the “old” real estate organisations,” he said.
He said Go Gecko has already sold in excess of 3000 homes and saved property sellers more than $18 million since establishing five years ago.
“Yet we need more offices to meet the demand from people wanting to sell their homes in areas we don’t currently service,” he said.According to Mr Doyle, the industry has accepted Go Gecko’s philosophy as the way of the future, especially in these uncertain economic times.
He also expected interest levels from potential franchisees to increase, following the BRW listing. “Go Gecko offers an excellent business investment to franchisees, because we have taken out the hardest part of any real estate agency, obtaining listings, enabling franchise owners to build a business with strong and recurring income streams,” said Mr Doyle. However, he said that not only those with a background in the real estate industry could have the opportunity to experience success with the Go Gecko franchise.“Anyone with good business acumen, as well as sales and marketing skills and the ability to manage a team, including those with backgrounds in financial advice, accounting, trades, franchises in other industries, and small to medium business owners, are successful,” he said.
“The internal support from Go Gecko is an important part of this success, as we have specifically designed and integrated software to keep franchise operations simple and to support daily tasks.
“Our cost structures are designed to run offices lean and inexpensively, while providing excellent rewards for the performance of the sales teams.
"We have taken out some o the most disliked jobs and roles which force many real estate agents out of the industry - making cold calls and door-knocking is a task is the past," he said.
“The unique Go Gecko brand adds another great point of difference with its distinctive colours and gecko image, which is increasingly recognised and respected in the property industry and among home buyers and sellers. Go Gecko aims to revolutionise the real estate industry by setting new standards and building a company on honest and good customer service. Go Gecko has 23 offices in the Australian capital Territory, New South Wales and Queensland, and was established in 2003. for more information about Go Gecko visit www.gogecko.com.au .
